Black Persian

Why is it that I inherited most of my looks from my persian side then my polish? I am half polish half persian and have olive skin, black hair, brown eyes. I look more persian then polish. Can someone explain why this is? Is there any chance of my eyes changing color or my hair possibly? One thing, darker genes are dominant and it doesn't matter which parent has the darker genes, mother or father. Most of your DNA is Autosomal which you get 50-50 from both parents. It is the DNA that determines your appearance. You get 23 chromosomes each from both parents. One each determines your sex and they are the two that have your Y & Mitochondrial. The other 22 each are made up of your Autosomal. One thing your parents have recessive genes that will not show up in their appearance but can in yours. Although you get your Autosomal 50-50 from both parents, it is ;not a 25-25-25-25 breakdown from your grandparents. You get 50% from your paternal grandparents and 50% from your maternal grandparents, but it isn't even steven between grandmother and grandfather whether on the paternal or the maternal side. This will vary in you and will vary in your siblings. The recessive genes and the variation in DNA received from all your ancestors means that none of you might look exactly alike. Too many people look at pigmentation and perhaps height in determining whether someone looks like another. Definitely your father's darker genes probably will dominate over your mother's lighter genes but if people would look closely at you and your mother, they will see similarities. This will increase as you age. A lot of people don't think my younger sister and I look alike at all. She topped off at 5 ft 2 inches and I topped of at 5 ft6-1/4in. She is brown eyed and tans very well. I have a skin cancer type pigmentation, born with red hair, blue eyes and only freckle and burn. Still we both have the same facial shape.

Domestic Cat Breeds – The Persian, Siamese And Manx Breed

When there are people around it will enjoy playing, but in most cases it's not a very playful race. They also enjoy beeing around other cats and will play with them. There are a lot of colours that might find their way on a cats fur, like white, brown, black or a mix of different colors. The Himalayan is a popular breed of Persian cats.

The Manx Breed: some of the things people know about this cat is that it lacks the tail or it has a stubby one. That's the downside of this breed of cats. In some cases the manx will have different parasites or worms, because it's not protected by the tail and it's not cleaned properly.

Still, the Manx is a good breed, so you shouldn't avoid it completely. These cats are quite playful and clever and they can even fetch things, just like a dog does when you play with him. They do love human company though, so they need them around. If you leave the house for longer periods of time you should probably have another cat to play with the Manx, because they dislike being alone. If there are children in the house, then it's the perfect environment for them.
